Pedestrian accidents in New York can happen anywhere at any time, often when you least expect them. Just recently, a 53-year-old Buffalo, NY man was killed while crossing the street. Statewide, 307 people died and 15,321 people were injured in pedestrian accidents in 2009, according to the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.
